RestoNet

Terms of use

Updated on October 6, 2026

These terms apply to anyone who uses RestoNet: the restonet.tn website, the RestoNet mobile app, and menus opened from a table QR code or a restaurant link. By using RestoNet, you accept them.

This is a translation; in case of difference, the French version prevails.

1. Who we are

RestoNet is published by Med Naim, sole trader based in Zarzis (Medenine, Tunisia). Contact: contact@restonet.tn — WhatsApp +216 52 124 384.

2. The service

RestoNet lets you:

  • browse the restaurants of a city, their menus, prices, opening hours and customer reviews;
  • order online from restaurants that enabled it: at the table (QR code), takeaway or delivery;
  • get delivered by a RestoNet courier for orders placed from the RestoNet directory, or by the restaurant itself when it offers its own delivery on its site;
  • track your order, find it in “My orders”, reorder it and rate the restaurant.

RestoNet is a technical intermediary: meals are prepared and sold by the restaurants, which remain solely responsible for their menu, prices, food quality and hygiene.

3. Your account

You can order without an account. An account (phone number and password) lets you find your orders, save addresses and rate restaurants.

  • the information you give must be accurate, especially your phone number: the restaurant and courier must be able to reach you;
  • your password is personal: you are responsible for what is done with your account;
  • RestoNet is intended for people aged 16 or over;
  • you can delete your account at any time (see the “Account deletion” page).

4. Orders and prices

  • Prices are set by each restaurant and shown in Tunisian dinars (DT), taxes included. Prices in the RestoNet directory may differ from those charged on site or on the restaurant’s own site.
  • Delivery fees are shown before you send the order. For RestoNet delivery, they depend on your neighbourhood or, if you share your location, on the distance between the restaurant and you.
  • The total shown when ordering is what you pay. A sold-out item or a price change is flagged before sending.
  • By sending the order, you commit to paying for it and collecting it (or being reachable at the delivery address).
  • The restaurant may refuse an order. Once it has been accepted, call the restaurant directly to cancel or change it.

5. Payment

For now, payment is made in cash: at the counter or table for dine-in and takeaway, to the courier for deliveries. RestoNet does not store any bank card.

6. Delivery

  • Times are indicative. The order tracking page shows its progress.
  • Give a precise address and stay reachable: if the courier cannot hand over the order (absence, address not found, refusal), it may be recorded as a failed delivery.
  • Beyond a restaurant’s maximum delivery distance, RestoNet delivery is not offered.

7. Allergies and dish information

Dish descriptions are written by the restaurants. If you have an allergy or special diet, ask the restaurant before ordering (“Call” button or a note in the order).

8. Reviews

  • Only a logged-in customer whose order is completed can rate the restaurant, once per order, and may edit the review at any time.
  • Your review is published with your first name and the initial of your last name. The restaurant may reply publicly.
  • A review must reflect your real experience. RestoNet may hide abusive, discriminatory, off-topic, personal-data-containing or obviously false reviews; a hidden review no longer counts and can no longer be edited.

9. What is forbidden

  • placing fake orders or orders you do not intend to pay for;
  • using another person’s phone number or account;
  • disrupting the service, accessing other people’s data or bulk-extracting the site’s content;
  • publishing unlawful, abusive or misleading content.

In case of breach, RestoNet may suspend or delete the account concerned.

10. Liability

RestoNet does its best to keep the service available and information up to date, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service or the accuracy of content provided by restaurants (menus, prices, hours, photos). Food preparation is the restaurant’s responsibility.

11. Personal data

How your data is used is described in the Privacy policy.

12. Changes

These terms may change with the service. The update date is shown at the top; you will be informed of important changes in the app or on the site.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by Tunisian law. In case of disagreement, please write to us first so we can find an amicable solution; failing that, the competent Tunisian courts will have jurisdiction.
